Tam airlines was started in 1961 as a charter company with the motto of spirit to serve. Slowly the company extended its services in different fields and now days offer various services to their passengers including sales of bell helicopter and Cessna aircraft along with maintenance, chartering and management of aircraft. Tam cargo is a star alliance member cargo division which provides flight over 18 countries and 80 cities in Brazil. The company also manages its own tour operator with the name of tam viagens. The company was founded in 1998 and provides travelling packages with several discounts and offers to the passengers. One can even travel with their pets and can enjoy their journey with Voetam flight services. There is special permission required for expecting mothers of 8 months to travel. They need to either have a medical certificate or physician with them in order to travel with tam airlines.
